Welcome to Worldview English.
A platform for deep discussion as a means of enhancing English skills. International companies and institutions use English as the common working language, but many employees may lack the fluency and confidence to speak authoritatively in a second language.
That's where Worldview English comes in. We look at the week's big stories, be it geopolitical, economic, or environmental. Through reading primary sources and thoughtful discussion of the topic, we aim to give students the confidence to speak in high-pressure environments with self-assuredness and advanced vocabulary.
What about grammar? While we do cover grammatical concepts, it is not our main focus. When we acquire our native language, we do not learn all of the rules, we acquire them through immersion and experience. Firstly, we unlock fluency, as we do this, grammatical accuracy improves naturally.

Meet the Director
Jamie Donoghue has been teaching English to business professionals in person and online for over half a decade. Teaching in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Singapore, Mexico, USA and Thailand.
Along with his love of linguistics, Jamie also has a keen interest in philosophy, history, domestic and international geopolitics.
Jamie set out to leverage this wide knowledge base with Worldview English. In lessons, we use the ever-changing world around us as a catalyst for engaging and illuminating discussions. Students not only deepen their grasp of the English language but also often come away with new knowledge about the world around them.
